McAfee Error: You must restart your computer

The error occured "You must restart your computer before installing McAfee Products" while installing McAfee Softwares because of there are some traces of the Older version of McAfee products.

You can solve this problem by doing the below steps:

1: Open Registry Editor by typing "regedit" in "run" box and nevigate to

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

if there is a value available named "UninstRebootRequired" delete it.

2: Search this named file or folder "$McReboot" in these location, if its there than delete it.

"C:\Documents and Setting\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

"C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu"

"C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu"

There is no need to Reboot the computer, Simple Reinstall the McAfee Security Software application.

A McAfee Blank White Screen Interface could be caused by these things like: Internet Explorer, Java, Incorrect Registry Keys, Windows Display Drivers and some updates of Windows Service Pack.
McAfee White Screen is caused by your Internet Explorer. Check that your Internet Explorer is not Beta Version. You Must have a Non-Beta Version Internet Explorer and check, if it is up to date?

How to Resolve

Step: 1

Reset your Internet Explorer
    Step:1  Open up your Internet Explorer, on Menu Bar click on Tools, after that click on Internet Options.
        After that, you'll get a New Window of Internet Options. On Internet Options Window, click on Advance Tab.
        Under Advanced, click on Reset.

    Step:2    Press Window Logo Key and R key at the same time from your Computer Keyboard and you'll get a Run Command Box on Left bottom Corner.
        On run Box, type the command inetcpl.cpl and click on OK. After that, you'll get a New Window of Internet Options.
        On Internet Options Window, click on Advance Tab. Under Advanced, click on Reset.

After that,  Download the Registry Key Bat file from the link that I have given below:
    http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/mcscriptfix.zip
    After downloading this file, run it as administrator.
    If prompted, click Yes in the User Account Control box.

After that, Restart the Computer.



If you still have the same issue, go to Step:2.


Step:2

Verify that Java is installed and up to date.

    Install the Java with this link https://java.com/getjava
    After that Verify the Java that you have installed with the same Website.
   
After Installing and Verifying the Java on your computer Run Command Prompt as Administrator.
   
    Click on Start>All Programs>Accessories> and right click on Command Prompt and Run as Administrator.
    After that, Paste these Three Java Script on cmd windows.
        REGSVR32 JSCRIPT.DLL
        REGSVR32 VBSCRIPT.DLL
        REGSVR32 JSCRIPT9.DLL
        regsvr32 msxml3.dll
    After that, Reboot the Computer...


If you still have the same issue, go to Step:3.



Step: 3

I hope you are using internet explorer Beta Version on your computer. Please uninstall internet explorer beta version from your computer.

    Click on Start and go to control panel>Add or Remove programs.
    After that, on Left top corner click on "view installed updates"
    After that, under the updates list find Internet Explorer and then Uninstall it...
    and Reboot the computer. After restart, Internet Explorer would be Downgraded Version and you can double click on McAfee icon from the Desktop Main Screen and         the issue will get resolved.


If you still have the same issue, go to Step:4.


Step: 4

If you're getting the same McAfee Blank White Screen Page you need to Update you Operating System.

    Go to Start>All Programs>Windows Update.
